This weeks interesting picture is a a snapshot of the production area with a selection of modular belt and a PVC belt conveyors almost ready to go.
Some interesting things to see here is firstly the general quality of manufacture. We believe that the Dorner food stainless steel conveyor offering is in many aspects streets ahead of most UK manufactured stainless conveyors.
The three belt conveyor bends with the blue modular belts have the tip up tail for easy belt replacement and maintenance.
Although the motor is missing the quality of the gearbox and torque arm are clearly visible. Also visible are the protected bearings for washdown applications.
The construction of the conveyor frame and also the legs are designed to avoid flat areas where dirt can collect. The cross bars on the legs are diamond shaped in profile for the same reason.
The multi stage bend feature in the side frame is also on display. This allows for a solid frame where the plastic wearstrips (Also visible) take the considerable strain of the belt as it goes through the bend.
