There's lots of information and new products emerging at the moment about Dorner conveyors with special purpose belts for product positioning. We are finding it more common that some customers want accurate positioning of products on the conveyor belt for product pick up or put down by robots or other machinery. In the past that's been tricky with AC motors and position/rotation sensors. Now with the use of special belts and servo motors this is much more easily achieved.
