Flexmove have developed high speed diverters for Flexmove slat conveyors.
One of the major benefits of plastic chain conveyors like the Flexmove system is that products travelling at high speeds can be brushed across the belt with no loss of belt tracking or belt wear.
This is due to the fact that the belt is positively located in the aluminium beam by lugs on the chain that make contact with the plastic wear strip in the aluminium supporting profile.
The pneumatic diverters work on a system that involves positioning sensors at strategic positions along the conveyor.
These sensors are positioned to send a signal to the conveyor control panel just in time for the diverter to operate or not.
The motion of the diverter is positive and fast. The two sided nature of the diverter means that it can have a 3 lane span, this means that the product can either pass on through or be diverted either left or right.
