We recently supplied a set of 5 gravity pallet conveyors to a distribution centre near Manchester. The pallets could be heavy and because they were marshalled on a mezzanine floor, they had to be handled with manual pallet trucks. When using manual handling it’s important to make it as easy as possible for the opeators to do their job, that’s why we fitted their pallet storage systems with ramps to run up when picking up the pallets and also a keep back system consisting of braked rollers and pop up stopper triggered by the first pallet to prevent the next pallet from pushing forward before the first pallet has been removed.
